Live Painting
Renowned street artist HERA (Jasmin Siddiqui) will create a large-scale mural on Teufelsberg. The artist uses walls as canvases. Originally from Frankfurt, HERA is famous in the street art scene. For over 20 years, she has been spray-painting her messages and poetic images on facades and walls worldwide. In May, she will tackle a 17-meter-high wall on Teufelsberg for the Helpline „Gewalt gegen Frauen“.
The artwork is created in collaboration with the Helpline “Gewalt gegen Frauen.” This street art action aims to make the pressing social issue of gender-based violence more visible and raise awareness about the counseling services offered by the helpline.
The Helpline „Gewalt gegen Frauen“ provides support to women affected by violence, people from their social environment, and professionals via the phone number 116 016 and online at www.hilfetelefon.de. The service is available 24/7, free of charge, anonymously, confidentially, barrier-free, and in 18 languages.
