We are proud to be a host for the BangaloREsidency-Expanded, offering a space where artistic exchange meets historical resonance. This six-week residency between June and August 2025 provides emerging Indian artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in Berlin’s dynamic creative landscape while contributing to Teufelsberg’s ever-evolving artistic narrative.

A Living Canvas of History and Innovation

At the core of this residency is the intersection of history, creativity, and public engagement. Teufelsberg’s raw, unfiltered urban landscape is a natural home for artistic experimentation, particularly through street art. The residency encourages artists to reflect the site’s layered past—from its origins as a WWII rubble hill and Cold War surveillance station to its rebirth as a hub for artistic and ecological transformation. By using the walls of Teufelsberg as a canvas, artists can create bold visual statements that weave contemporary themes with the site’s historical significance.

Fostering a Sustainable Artistic Exchange

As part of the bangaloREsidency-Expanded’s mission to establish sustainable artistic connections, Teufelsberg offers an environment where cross-cultural dialogue thrives. Through this residency, Indian artists gain access to Berlin’s dynamic artistic networks, exploring new mediums, techniques, and collaborations that influence their creative practice. Likewise, their contributions bring fresh perspectives to Teufelsberg, reinforcing its status as a global meeting point for artistic innovation.
