Teufelsberg-Events
The Teufelsberg is more than just a tourist destination – it is a source of inspiration for artists and photographers alike. Its unique blend of striking architecture, sweeping views over Berlin, and traces of the past make it a fascinating setting that attracts around 200,000 visitors annually. As a location for films, music videos, weddings, and other creative projects, it has firmly established itself within the cultural scene.
This special atmosphere is at the heart of our new photography exhibition, “Traces of Time”, which originated from our photography competition. Numerous participants captured the Teufelsberg from creative and often surprising perspectives. An independent jury selected the 15 most impressive photographs, which we are proud to present. On February 8th at 1pm, we will open the doors to “Traces of Time” and warmly invite you to celebrate this special occasion with us!
The event will take place in the former canteen of the military facility. These remarkable spaces have been prepared for various uses and events and will also be available for private and corporate bookings as the event season begins. The unique architecture, location, and panoramic view over the Grunewald forest and Berlin inspire imagination and creativity.
Do you have photographs, photobooks, or other works related to the Teufelsberg? Then join us for our photo and photobook market! With the purchase of an entry ticket, we will provide you with a table where you can informally showcase your works or projects after the awards ceremony.
Additionally, regardless of the exhibition, you have the opportunity to offer your publications in our bookshop on a consignment basis. Our Jury
Hendrik Wolter – Official photographer of Team Teufelsberg, Hendrik is the face behind all the images on our website, promotional materials, and more. With over twelve years of experience, he began with Lost Place photography and developed his skills in nature and travel photography, becoming Teufelsbergs official Photoprapher. If anyone knows how to bring out the best of this place, it’s him.
Vanessa Wunsch – Commercial and portrait photographer from Berlin. With her exhibition during the “Power of Female Art Festival 2024,” Vanessa became the first photographer to showcase her work on Teufelsberg. To her, photography is about authentically capturing the beauty and stories of people and products
Stefanie Dörre – Experienced journalist and Editor-in-Chief of tipBerlin magazine. With her keen eye and in-depth knowledge, Stefanie has shaped Berlin’s media landscape. As a prominent voice in the Berlin cultural scene, she brings an intuitive sense for creative expressions, emerging talents, and a well-trained eye for photographic art, completing our jury panel
